Erik Speer is a passionate advocate for criminal justice reform and a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. As the President of Re-Entry Community Outreach (ReComOut.org), Erik leads with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by returning citizens, drawing on his own lived experience as a formerly incarcerated individual. His personal journey from incarceration to successful reintegration into society has fueled his unwavering commitment to providing others with the same opportunities for transformation and redemption.

Scotty Byrnes - Outreach and Client Relations

Scotty Byrnes brings a passion for serving returning citizens and a deep commitment to community engagement and advocacy. His leadership is instrumental in building trust between clients, local organizations, and ReComOut, Inc., ensuring that every person who reaches out for assistance feels heard, supported, and empowered. Through strategic outreach initiatives and client-focused programs, Scotty helps create lasting relationships that strengthen the success of reentry efforts.
